Our mission is to promote the advancement of quality welding in the industry and to teach welding to those who are interested. We pride ourselves in offering our students a program and environment in which they can learn different welding processes and develop their skills to meet industrial standards.
Student are enrolled on an individual schedule. There will be no more than 15 students per instructor. Students are not required to take all the classes in the program. The student should be selective and take those classes which meet their educational needs. Class schedules are set by the School's Director.
All Classes: Prerequisite; High school diploma or GED and physical and mental ability to do the class work.
Basic II SMAW: Prerequisite; Basic I or two (2) years of shop experience in SMAW 3G & 2G.
SMAW Advanced: Basic II or 3 years of shop experience with SMAW all positions.
Academic Offering: Diploma Program "Welding Technology" 624 Clock Hours.
